Dr Ian McKay (m)

Dr. Ian McKay was raised in Barrhead in Renfrewshire. After graduating from Glasgow University and completing pre-registration house jobs in Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Stobhill Hospital. He then worked as a registrar in Microbiology at Glasgow Royal Infirmary before undertaking GP training and becoming a partner at the Rose Garden Medical Centre (RGMC) in 1992. He worked there full-time till 1998. After this he continued to work half-time in the practice and was appointed as a Hospital Practitioner in Microbiology at the Western General Hospital. With the advent of Local Health Care Co-operatives (LHCCs) in 1999 he was appointed as the Clinical Director of North East Edinburgh LHCC; a post he continued in until 2006 when he was appointed as Clinical Director of the Edinburgh Community Health Partnership (CHP). He remains in this post today. He remained a partner at the RGMC until April 2014.

In addition to these roles he was a GP Trainer from 1993 till 2014 and has been a MRCGP examiner since 1997. Dr. McKay was also a Non Executive Director of Lothian Health Board from 2004 till 2010.

Dr Yusuf Ali Lalloo (m)

Dr. Lalloo qualified from Swansea University, Wales in 2014 following completion of a pre-medical Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Clinical Health and Psychology. Having moved to London to undertake training in several speciality posts he worked within the sexual health service in East London. Under the Ambrose King Centre he gained his Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH) adding to his existing Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG).

Dr. Lalloo completed his General Practitioner speciality training in Edinburgh and has continued to practice within the city since.
