Miss Emma Archibald (f)

Phlebotomists duties and responsibilities centre around the obtaining and proper handling of human blood. The basic services of the phlebotomist include taking blood samples from patients and correctly cataloging them for lab analysis.

Our practice phlebotomist, Emma, runs her blood clinics on a weekly basis. If you feel you may require a blood test, please arrange an initial appointment with a GP to discuss.

As well as taking bloods, Emma assists Dr McKay in minor surgeries and does various reception duties and she is currently studying nursing at Edinburgh Napier University.
